My First Digital Radiograph

After retiring from a 36 year career in NDE with a major manufacturing Company, why would someone want to go back into the workforce instead of playing with his grown-up toys and grandchildren? The answer is the exciting world of Digital Radiography, Digital RT has been around for a few years but only recently has it started to gain the recognition that it deserves. Film Radiography has become one of the pillars of our industry. Other than the introduction of automatic film processors and new Isotope sources, very little has changed in the radiography method over its long history, Now, however, Digital Radiography is taking advantage of today's Computer technology to bring major advances to one of the most reliable and trusted NDE methods, Retirement is great. Semi-retirement is better. Digital Radiography is an exciting new technology that will change our future. l am pleased to be a pari of it.
