摘要

The first examples of homo- and heteroleptic complexes containing 5-ferrocenyldipyrromethene(fcdpm) [Cu(fcdpm)_2] (1) [Cu(fcdpm)(acac)] (2), [Ni(fcdpm)(acac)] (3) and [Zn(fcdpm)_2] (4) (acac =acetylacetonato) are described. Formation of the asymmetric metal complexes has been followed byelectronic absorption and infrared spectroscopy. The complexes have been characterised by elementalanalyses and spectral studies. Structures of [Cu(fcdpm)_2] (1), [Cu(fcdpm)(acac)] (2) and[Ni(fcdpm)(acac)] (3) have been determined crystallographically. Structural data revealed that the metalcentre in the copper complexes [Cu(fcdpm)_2] (1), [Cu(fcdpm)(acac)] (2) and the nickel complex[Ni(fcdpm)(acac)] (3) adopts a distorted square planar geometry.
