That's why the checkoff, through its National Dairy Council, invested in a partnership with the National Football League, with support from the USDA, to form Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP60), the country's largest in-school nutrition and physical activityprogram, reaching 38 million students and their families in 73,000-plus schools.FUTP60 increases access to more nutritious foods - including lots of dairy throughout the day - and physical activity to students in schools through innovative "plays" championed by the students and their advisers, something unheard of before dairy farmers made this happen. And the results have been outstanding.
