Several Apache Horn River Wells To Come On Production By Mid 2010

Apache Corporation and its joint venture partner EnCana Corporation plan to have 27 horizontal gross wells on production by the end of the first half of 2010, the Houston-based producer said Thursday. An Apache operated 16-well pad and an EnCana 11-well pad are fully drilled and are awaiting completion operations, which will begin on the Apache operated pad in December with fracing starting in early January, John Crum, president of North America operations, said during a conference call. First production from the pad is expected in April and will ramp up quickly.
