TriStar Reserves Will Top 100 Million BOE By June 1

TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. has announced plans to raise $250 million for its planned acquisition of Talisman Energy Inc. assets and reported a 65% leap in its reserves for the year ended Dec. 31, 2008.Upon completion of the Talisman asset acquisition which is scheduled to close on June 1, 2009 and a southeast Saskatchewan private company acquisition which closed on March 2, TriStar estimates it will have reserves in excess of 107 million BOE and a 200 ; exit production rate over 25,000 BOE per day. It will also have over 1,500 development drilling locations and more than 900,000 net acres of land.
