U.S. May Natural Gas Production Slips From April

(Reuters) - U.S. gross natural gas production in May fell slightly from April but remained nearly two per cent above year-earlier evels, according to recent data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. In its EIA-914 Monthly Natural Gas Production Report, EIA said "wet" gas output in the lower 48 states fell to 62.84 bcf per day in May, down 0.51 bcf per day, or 0.8%, from revised April figures, but still about 1.1 bcf per day, or 1.8%, higher than in May 2008.
