Higher 2008 Prices Put Wind In Freehold's Sails, 2009 Shaping Up Differently

Thanks to higher commodity prices during the first half of last year, Freehold Royalty Trust boosted funds from operations and reached record distributions of $2.91 per trust unit in 2008.Distributions declared reached $143.7 million, 52% higher than in 2007. Production during the year declined eight per cent to 7,804 bbls of oil equivalent per day. Funds from operations rose to $171.3 million in 2008, a 42% boost from the previous year.
