A combination of a strategic acquisition, dispositions and drilling contributed to a 28% increased in proved plus probable reserves as of Dec. 31, 2008, Profound Energy Inc. has reported.The company had 12.27 million bbls of oil equivalent of proved plus probable reserves, including 8.31 million BOE of proved reserves, an increase of 39% from 5.97 million BOE of proved reserves in 2007 as independently evaluated by GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd.
