Fort Chicago Reports Second Quarter Results

For the second quarter of 2009 Fort Chicago Energy Partners L.P. generated net income of $20 million or 15 cents per unit, which approximates amounts generated during the same period last year. "The second quarter performance of each of our businesses was consistent with our expectations," said President and CEO Stephen White in a news release. "In particular, Aux Sable generated solid results, as favourable NGL market conditions supported the recognition of $6.8 million of margin-based lease revenues." Fort Chicago said its ability to finance future growth and overall liquidity has also been significantly enhanced by a recent $200 million senior note offering and other financing activities. Through these activities it has largely addressed the April 2011 maturity of its 2004 credit facility.
