NEB Orders Corrective Actions Following Enbridge Fatality

Enbridge Inc. says it has accepted the National Energy Board's list of corrective actions related to the company's safety management program and procedures in the western region following the death of a company electrician at Kerrobert, Saskatchewan in 2008.In a report on its investigation into the death of Henri St. Pierre on March 24, 2008, the board identified a number of areas for safety improvements. It also said it accepts that the corrective actions implemented by the company will address many of the immediate and underlying causes that were in place at the time of the incident.
