Calfrac Pays $90 Million For Century Oilfield

In its second major acquisition in two months, Calfrac Well Services Ltd. has agreed to buy the stock of privately-held Century Oilfield Services Inc. in a mainly share-exchange deal worth $90 million. Under the proposed deal, Calfrac will make up 85% of the purchase price with its own stock, priced at roughly $14.87 per share, offering cash for the remaining 15%. Calfrac will also assume Century's debt, incurring another $30 million in other liabilities.
