Strong fourth-quarter and full-year results for TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. were helped by last year's acquisitions and steady drilling in both reporting periods (see table).Fourth-quarter production jumped 49%, to 22,072 bbls of oil equivalent per day from 14,769 BOE per day in the fourth quarter of 2007. While natural gas volumes in the quarter fell to 26.64 mmcf per day from 32.54 mmcf per day a year ago, crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGL) figures climbed to 17,632 bbls per day from 9,347 bbls per day in the 2007 quarter.
