Open Range Limiting Capital Spending

During the second quarter of 2009 Open Range Energy Corp. carried out limited field activities and expenditures, as it continued to focus on cash conservation and balance sheet integrity to weather an extended period of weak natural gas prices. The junior producer delivered growth in quarterly production over the second quarter of 2008 although production slipped from the first three months of 2009 (see tables). Production was down slightly from the first quarter of 2009 due to previously announced maintenance turnarounds at a third-party gas plant, which shut in approximately"400 bbls of oil equivalent per day for about three weeks.
