A big acquisition helped AltaGas Income Trust, which provides natural gas and electricity infrastructure, to achieve higher profit, cash flow and revenue in the fourth quarter (see table).Results from the trust's gas business reflect the acquisition of Taylor NGL Limited Partnership in January 2008. The trust's power business benefitted from higher power prices, reflecting both the impact of hedging and higher spot power prices.
