Report on the 115th Annual Meeting of The Mining Society of Nova Scotia

The 115th Annual Meeting of The Mining Society of Nova Scotia (MSNS) was held last June 5 and 6, 2002, at the Inverary Inn Resort, Baddeck, Cape Breton Island. The theme for the meeting was "Energy-Preparing for the Future." Registration of members and guests began on Thursday morning and continued through Friday morning. As this was an innovative and important meeting of the Mining Society, the attendees, as expected, came from all parts of Canada and the United States.
