Reftinskaya GRES restores power generation after accident

On August 22 a destruction of an open switchgear insulator took place at Reftinskaya GRES (Sverdlovskregion, a part of Enel Russia). As a result, the electricity generation at the power plant was completelysuspended. Over the next 24 hours, 3 power units with an installed capacity of 300 MW each were reconnectedstepwise into the network. Start-up operations are being carried out at the rest of the equipment.
