In January ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) plans to increase coking coal purchasesto 220,000?230,000 t versus 200,000?220,000 t in December as the mill needs to re-stock. Out of the volumethe producer has bought 25,000 t (K coal) in the domestic market. Also ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih plannedto buy Zh coal from local suppliers but the deal has not been signed yet. The rest of the material will beimported.
