Russia.s Mechel introduces new coal prepation technology at Elga Coal Complex

Mechel has informed about introducing a new coal preparation and dewatering technology at a seasonal preparationplant of the Elga Coal Complex. The project costs about $2 million.The facility is equipped with two cyclical membrane filter presses produced by Tecnicas Hidraulicas that will performpressurized filtration of slime waters and mechanical dewatering of fine coal.
