Starting from diethyl 5-(methylethyl)pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylate the crystalline and highly soluble complex 3,10,17,24-Tetra(1-methylethyl)-[29H,31H-tetrapyrido[2,3-b:2',3'-g:2 "-3 "-3 "-I:2''',3'''-q]porphyrazinato(2-)N29,N30,N31,N32]-nickel-[Eu(fod)(3)](4) was prepared.
