First record of Noctitrella Gorochov from China, with description of a new species (Orthoptera: Gryllidae: Podoscirtinae)

The genus Noctitrella Gorochov, 1990 is recorded to China for the first time. A new species is described and illustrated, N. denticulata sp. nov. (CHINA: Yunnan). A key to and a distribution map of the known species of this genus in the world are presented. The genus Noctitrella was established by Gorochov (1990) for N. tranquilla. At present, it includes 9 species (Ingrisch, 1997; Gorochov, 2003; Eades, Otte, Cigliano & Braun, 2013), which are distributed in the Southeast Asia (Map 1). During our study, a new species of Noctitrella Gorochov from Yunnan, China is discovered and described here under the name of N. denticulata sp. nov. Meanwhile, the genus Noctitrella Gorochov is recorded to the Chinese fauna for the first time. Terminology follows that of Ingrisch (1997). The type specimen is deposited in the Museum, Hebei University, Baoding, China (MHBU).
