Theoretical chemistry

摘要

The disciplines of chemistry may be classified into four categories, namely, analytical, inorganic, physical, organic and theoretical chemistry. Often we see illustrations of chemistry in the first four categories. Rarely do we see mention of theoretical chemistry. However, it is aspects of theoretical chemistry that enable appropriate data to be extracted from observations. The ability to do this depends primarily on teaching theoretical chemistry in a constructive way.
