New Delhi: Honeywell has launched a new generation product range to offer to the Indian paramilitary forces. This will result in availability of more viable product options to manufacture. It includes ultra lightweight and more comfortable jackets in comparison with the existing ones and verified solutions for vehicle, boats and helicopter armoring and light weight-spectra based helmets. Honeywell patented Spectra Shield products are manufactured by bonding parallel strands of fiber in place with an advanced resin system. In addition to Spectra fiber, the company adapts this technology to other fibers, including aramid.
