GACL Q1 net profit at Rs 54.5 cr;plans to invest Rs 1700 cr on de-bottlenecking

Gujarat:Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals(GACL)has registered an increase of 7.91 per cent in its net profit at Rs 54.46 crore during the first quarter of current fiscal compared to Rs 50.47 crore for the first quarter of previous year.The profit before tax for the quarter at Rs.71 crore shows a substantial increase of 24.45% when compared with that of Rs 57.05 crore for the first quarter of previous year.
