COTY TO ACQUIRE HAIR STYLING BRAND GHD

Seeing opportunity in the burgeoning hair care marketplace, Cory has reached a definitive agreement to acquire GHD (Good Hair Day), a premium brand of high-end hairstyling appliances from Lion Capital LLP for $510 million in cash. The transaction will be funded with a combination of cash on hand and available debt facilities.The acquisition will close by the end of the year and is expected to be immediately accretive to Coty's earnings.
