Breakthrough separator removes oil from water

Aqueous Recovery Resources, Inc. has developed what is claimed to be an innovative oil/water separation system called the Suparator. This technology incorporates a three-step separation mechanism that requires no moving parts or media. This unit takes advantage of the Bernoulli effect—the phenomenon whereby increased stream velocity in a fluid results in internal pressure reduction.
