Condensation is one of the most important heat transfer operations performed in the hydrocarbon process industry (HPI). Traditional heat transfer technologies, such as shell-and-tube heat exchangers, have been successfully performing condensing duties for many years. However, as process intensification becomes a large focal point in the HPI, engineers are seeking more efficient and innovative condensation solutions.
