Process incorporates renewables as part of refining operations

PETROBRAS has developed a new technology to produce diesel oil.The H-BIO process uses vegetable oils as feedstocks to refine transportation fuels.The technology was developed to introduce a renewable oil source into the diesel fuel production scheme while taking advantage of a refinery's existing infrastructure.
