Technip-Coflexip and its Iraian partner Nargan have a steamracker design and construction contract with the Petrochemical Industries Development Management Co., a National Petrochemical Co. of Iran (NPC) affiliate. The unit will be built on Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf. It will produce 500,000 tpy of ethylene from ethane feedstocks, which will be supplied by a nearly associated gas treatment plant. Contract value is euro173 million.
