Inclusive modeling tool improves refinery synergies

Aspen Technology Inc.and UOP LLC have jointly developed a software and services solution for refinery-wide modeling-Aspen RefSYS.This product enables refiners to optimize refining operations via an integrated simulation model of the facility.The system combines Aspen Tech's HYSYS process simulation flowsheet technology with first-principle refinery reactor models developed by Aspen Tech and UOP.
