Maximize energy recovery with small steam turbines

Steam systems are common in the hydrocarbon processing industry (HPl). In the past, system design was on large steam turbines. However, using smaller turbines (50 kW to 300 kW) can also increase system efficiency and help conserve energy. This article investigates examples in which the application of smaller steam turbines provided return on investment within two years.
