OMEGAs PLATINUM series controller demonstration/evaluation kit offers a fully integrated temperature control system (FIG. 2) suitable as a platform to investigate the use of closed-loop (i.e., proportional-integral-derivative or PID) and simple on/off temperature control in heating and cooling applications.
