In the previous issue of this periodical I have summarised some of the outstanding research projects carried out at the Agricultural Biotechnology Center during its first 10 years period in the field of animal biotechnology. To continue the account of our recognised research results under the following headings let me highlight some of those related to food safety and security and plant biotechnology including some general information on our networking activities.
