Rare Earth Element (REE) is a set of 17 elements in the periodic table having similar physical and chemical properties whose deposits in minable concentrations are not necessarily less common as compared to other ores. According to United States Geological Survey (USGS), total of 110X106 equivalent tonnes of rare earths have been discovered so far.
