Lysimachia congestiflora 'Zidie': an ornamental plant with fancy leaves.

摘要

Although the wild type L. congestiflora usually has green foliage, some variations with colorful foliage in the wild are valuable to be exploited. This paper reports a new colorful foliage cultivar selected from wild variations in L. congestiflora. Its good performance will render this new cultivar an excellent choice for urban landscaping in central China as well as other similar climatic regions. Tabulated data on the performance of 'Zidie' in different shade, and during hot summer and freezing winter are provided.
