Coming after a summer in which good weather has seen a return to optimism in the market, this year's South West Growers Show (SWGS) is set to be a key event for the region's horticulture industry, according to the organisers. Now in its 41st year, theshow will present a range of plants, equipment and services to the growers and plant buyers attending, with visitors set to include garden centres, local authorities and the landscaping industry.The event has seen a steady increase in both exhibitor and visitor numbers over recent years and space for exhibitors at next month's showcase (1 October) is filling up fast, meaning that the show is likely to be full, according to SWGS chairman David Jackson.
