Peter Neighbour had the longest job interview in the world after selling off his company, Phoenix Landscapes, to Fountains pic, the Ban-bury-based company best known for keeping leaves off railway lines. After starting at Fountains running finances, Neighbour had no intention of staying after the firms integrated But he did, after seeing the potential in the "rougher end" of the landscaping market. Fountains does many of the dangerous jobs in landscaping, including keeping railways and 440.000W power lines clear of vegetation.
