Dahlias

Natives of Central and South America, dahlias are fabulous brightly-coloured plants that flower from summer until the first frosts. There are so many types to choose from, which has led to dahlias being classified into ten groups, using flower shape,to prevent confusion. The groups include single-flowered, anemone-flowered, collerette, water lily, decorative, ball, pompon and cactus-flowered.
