A positive environment

This week, the Government revealed that climate change could shrink the world's economy by as much as 20 per cent. The daunting message was: "We must act now." Such a message makes it hard for many of us to feel positive about the future - so it is refreshing to learn that BALI chairman John O'Conner is happy. The 66-year-old owner of John O'Conner (Grounds Maintenance) - a ￡1 Om-turnover independent company based in Hertfordshire that services more than 20 council, public utility and industrial clients - is feeling positive because he knows that an environmentally aware society will create new opportunities for the landscaping industry.
