The skill shortage in horticulture and the land-based industries has been well-documented, but a recent report from the Heritage Lottery Fund highlights a specific problem in the heritage and conservation sector. The report, Sustaining our Living Heritage, explores the issue in a range of areas, including the natural heritage sector and was published on January 25. It has prompted HLF chairman Liz Forgan to call fora radical shift in attitudes.
