Library access extends industry knowledge

RHS libraries take advantage of 21st-century technology to develop a vast archive. Alys Fowler explains. Much has changed at the Royal Horticultural Society libraries over the past 200 years. Gone are the days when the library represented the rarefiedworld of dusty books for learned specialist, Instead, today's library is happily marrying our horticultural heritage with our future. The Linoley Library holds one of the most comprehensive collections of horticultural literature in the world. The collection spans from the 16th century to date and is largely housed at the RMS headquarters in London.
