The article presents legal requirements in the aspect of Autonomous Maintenance implementation in steel companies. Autonomous Maintenance is associated with workers involvement in the maintenance of machines. The attention was drawn to employer's obligations in the field of the risk identification, the selection of prophylactics and the risk assessment as a result of Autonomous Maintenance implementation.
