A new oasis/'KissSalis' spa in Bad Kissingen

The new building covers an area of over 1,700m~2, of which 1,000m~2 is water. A luxurious covered pool is linked to an open-air pool via a swim-through canal. The water for both pools is sourced from the curative Kissengen "Schonbornsprudel". A second open-air pool can also be accessed from inside the building. Warm and cool pools are available for alternating hot and cold baths, as well as a separate children's pool. A fitness arena offering modern training facilities has been included, as well as a separate steam bath and sauna area, together with therapy zones and brine pools for the more luxury-orientated visitor. Finally, a food area and shopping mall overlooking the bathing area make up the development. The structure takes the form of a "wave cylinder", in which the contour can best be described as a wavy line composed of arc segments running in opposite directions superimposed upon a circle with a diameter of approximately 90m.
