摘要

The paper presents the results of computer simulation of non-metallic inclusions behaviour in the six-outlets tundish. The Fluenf program was used to solve the mathematical model of steel casting process. In numerical simulation to modification of steel flow in the tundish four flow control devices: dam, dam with holes, turbulence inhibitors and ceramic filter were used. To determine initial conditions for describing non-metallic inclusions in the mathematical model an industrial experiment was performed. As a result of numerical simulation distribution of non-metallic inclusions between slag phase and tundish outlets have been obtained.
