Testing results of steel filtration by means of ceramic filters

摘要

The paper presents the results of laboratory tests of molten steel filtration by means of ceramic multi-hole filters. It was found that the content of non-metallic inclusions in filtered steel samples decreased in comparison with non filtered steel. More advantageous results of the filtration process have been obtained in liquid non-metallic inclusions that occur during deoxidation by means of complex deoxidants.
