摘要

Analysis of present technology of screw spike manufacturing has been described. Difficulties and shortcomings of that process, were a basis of new technology searching based on forming of products in a binary system. Numerical simulations based on finite element method and finite volume method were applied for evaluation of established solutions and obtaining of detailed informations. Computer calculations were preceded by elaboration of material model of the shaped steel and determining of friction conditions on the surface of contact between tool and deformed material. Experimental research for verification of theoretical solutions were made, too. As results confirmation of possibility and usefulness of application of the new technology based on flashless closed die forging of screw heads and cross-wedge rolling of threads in binary system was obtained.
