Utilization assessment of plastic wastes in blast- furnaces

Present state of utilization plastic wastes in blast-furnaces of world iron and steel industry is analysed. Based on thisanalysis utilization assessment of these wastes in blast-furnaceprocess for domestic conditions is presented. The quality of homeforming plastic wastes which could be in domestic blast-furnaceswas estimated. Utilization problem of used automotive tyres is also presented.
