Advances in burner and heat-transfer technology have widened the range of boiler sizes available to the design engineer. Similarly, they have made boiler burners more efficient and improved control of more fuel-oxidation process. Although these equipment improvements promise a better overall system than ever before, that promise is obtained only through optimal controls, piping, and continuous recommissioning.
