China: The polyurethane production in China has shown a fast growth in the recent years and it has estimated that the country produces around 30 percent of the world's total production. Polyurethane is properly known as the fifth plastic. It is a widely used material in light, chemical, textile, healthcare, architecture, automotive and aviation industries. In the future, this industry will be propelled further by five major factors like energy-efficient building, automobile, light textile, foreign trade as well as a massive population.
