Scientists Find Plastic Materials in Banana

Canada: Scientists at the Polymer Processing Research Centre (PPRC) at Queen's University of Belfast is carrying out a research to develop new procedures to utilize the by-products from banana plantations in the production of rotationally moulded plastics. The study known as 'Badana project' will provide environmental benefits and increase the profitability of the plantation owners and will also increase the employment for local people.
