Siemens energises substation for smelter project at BALCO

Siemens has announced that its Industrial Solutions and Services division(I&S) has successfully completed the energising of a 220 kV outdoor substation(switchyard) at Bharat Aluminium Company Limited's(BALCO) 2.45 lakh tpa aluminium smelter expansion unit at Korba.The energisation of 220 kV 18 bay switchyard and double circuit transmission line for the project was completed in a record time of thirteen months.
